Adventurous Eating This should be a hoot: Gael Greene moderates a chat about "the world's most unusual meals" with Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich, and Fergus Henderson, chef of St. John, the acclaimed London restaurant, and, more to the point, author of the cookbook The Whole Beast — Nose to Tail Eating. Frank Bruni Reviews for the reviewer seem to be all over the map. One thing that was bothering us was what seemed to be a disproportionate number of older restaurants being reviewed. We did the math, though. During the 11 months he's been in the chair, he's reviewed 48 restaurants. Of those, 12 hadn't opened recently. Hard to argue that 25% is an unreasonable number.
