Most of the restaurants listed here will be offering traditional and non-traditional Thanksgiving menu choices and many of them cut the prix-fixe price for children 12 and under by about half. All of them had seating available at last check, but don't wait long.

Andrew Haswell Green As we wrote last February, our pick for greatest New Yorker of all-time is Andrew Haswell Green. Thanks largely to the efforts of Michael Miscione, the city says it will name a park in his honor soon. Tomorrow is the 101st anniversary of Green's murder. Mr. Miscione will offer an informal tribute to the man at 1pm in Central Park at the Andrew H. Green Memorial Bench (the only current memorial to him).
The bench is extremely difficult to find, and is not marked on the maps inside the park.
From the east side: Enter the park at E. 102 St.; follow the auto road to the main drive and continue walking north for a couple of blocks; turn left onto the wide, paved jogger crossover road (marked by one of those 3-sided maps); take an immediate right onto the broken footpath that heads uphill; bear right on the path to the top of the hill where you will find the bench.
From the west side: Enter the park at 100th Street; follow the auto road to the main drive and continue walking north for a couple of blocks; turn right onto the wide, paved jogger crossover road (just before the road crosses a bridge); just before the crossover road intersects with the main drive on the east side take a left onto the broken footpath that heads uphill; bear right on the path to the top of the hill where you will find the bench.
