We're not remotely enthusiastic about guns; however—Helen Mirren plus machine gun? We're in. The movie is Red and co-stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, and Mary-Louise Parker. Opens October 15th.

Liah Alonso and Kelly Halloran, performing as Left on Red, have been busking in the subways for over three years in addition to playing clubs. They now have a self-titled CD out and you can catch them live as part of the CMJ Music Marathon at the Bitter End on Wednesday, October 20th, 9pm. $5 cover.
