Gotham Writers' Workshop invites you to start writing in 2012!

Join in one (or two) of the 44 free creative writing classes being offered on January 10 and 11 in four convenient Manhattan locations.

With offerings in more than a dozen forms of writing — everything from TV Writing to Children's Book Writing — you are certain to find a class that speaks to your creative interests. All the courses are taught by professional writers on the school's faculty and utilize an engaging combination of lectures and in-class writing exercises.

Classes will be offered in Fiction Writing, Playwriting, Screenwriting, Memoir Writing, Children's Book Writing, Article Writing, Humor Writing, Creative Writing, Nonfiction Writing, Poetry Writing, Travel Writing, TV Writing, Songwriting, and Stand-Up Comedy Writing.

These one-hour classes are a quick jumpstart for aspiring writers to put their pens to paper. They are designed demystify the writing process and help writers discover their muse.
