Stockings With Care
the skint

Our annual holiday appeal to get your ho-ho-ho on for a very good cause—Stockings With Care—the nonprofit organization that gathers up Christmas wish lists from kids in NYC shelters and at-risk environments and then assigns Santas to take care of one or all of their three wishes. For most of the 1,000 kids involved, the presents from volunteer Santas are the only ones they'll get. All gifts are given to the parents or caregivers in time for the holidays, so the old Santa magic remains intact.

There's a Celebrity Bartending Night this coming Monday, 7-11pm, at Hudson Station Bar, 440 9th [34th/35th]. It's $30 in advance ($40 at the door) and all bartending tips go to the organization. Actors from The Good Wife, The Book of Mormon, Orange is the New Black and many others will be slinging drinks.

To be a Santa this year, fill out the short form here.
