This benefit concert, to raise scholarships
for talented young musicians,
features performances by two of the The New School's
best-known alumni pianists and Blue Note recording artists:
Robert Glasper and Greg Kurstin.
The program opens with The Robert Glasper Trio
performing selections from their critically acclaimed
albums Canvas and In My Element.
Kurstin and vocalist Inara George perform songs
from the bird and the bee and Please Clap Your Hands, including "Again and Again"
recently featured on the television series Grey's Anatomy.
