movie The Theory of Everything, opening tomorrow, is the love story of young Stephen Hawking and Jane Wilde (who became Hawking's first wife). It stars Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones and a first-rate supporting cast.



theater Speaking of first-rate casts, you couldn't do better than the plentifully talented actors bringing The Band Wagon to City Center tonight through November 16, under the Encores! banner. Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, the cast includes Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael McKean, Tracey Ullman, Tony Sheldon and Laura Osnes. The Band Wagon is one of the all-time great movie musicals, with a screenplay by Comden and Green and a glorious score by Dietz and Schwartz.
