Remember the good old/bad old days of New York magazine? The weeks when they ran articles like 'The Nazi Next Door' and 'Sharon Stone — Can She Make AIDS Hot Again?' (Nostalgic sigh…) Seriously, what fun is it for us if New York is a consistently great read again? (We can add to our list of things we're dreading this year: New York continues its upward spiral). This week, Adam and the Mossettes have a drawing by Christo of "The Gates" which the artist will be signing on February 15th at the Central Park Boathouse from 4-6:30pm. We think "The Gates" is going to be one of the highlights of the year — this is a perfect opportunity to shower gratitude on the artist and his wife/partner Jeanne-Claude.
