It's not a new insight that some of the city's most interesting shops and eateries are not on the the avenues, but on the less pricey side streets. Sideways, though, takes the idea and runs with it—the website is filled with 'hidden gems' and lovely photos of same.

On the Vision Zero View site, the City maps places where traffic fatalities and injuries occurred. Last year through November, there were 206 fatalities and 54,265 injuries.
