A Letter from MUG's Publisher

In 2017, Manhattan User's Guide will be 25 years old.

MUG was the first city newsletter—created in black and white on paper in 1992—and has remained true to its original mission: scope out the best, most interesting stuff in the widest range of subjects possible… call out the worst… and generally celebrate all things New York City.

In that time, we've watched a lot of worthy competitors come and go—dozens of New York-centric publications like Citysearch, Digital City, Daily Candy, Gawker, all now shuttered.

And MUG, the little email that could, chugs along… with your support.

In the month of October, we need to raise $25,000 to meet our 2016 budget and get us to our 25th year. As of this morning, we're at $3,715.

Will you help get MUG to 25? Click. Yes. Click.

Thanks for helping us get to 25.
