A Note from MUG's Publisher
|In 2017, Manhattan User's Guide will be 25 years old.
MUG was the first city newsletter—created in black and white on paper in 1992—and has remained true to its original mission: scope out the best, most interesting stuff in the widest range of subjects possible…call out the worst…and generally celebrate all things New York City.
We're close to our goal of $25,000 to meet our 2016 budget and get us to our 25th year. As of this morning, we're at $22,649.

P.S. MUG has the nicest readers. Some of the comments you've sent with donations to our MUG 25 campaign:
"I've enjoyed and benefited from MUG for years and appreciate so much all the great info that you gather and share. I'm delighted to help you continue doing what you do so well. Keep it going!"
"My second donation, I'm still getting a bargain."
"I know this is only a small amount so I hope you don't mind it. I don't read MUG often because I live on the West Coast but when I do, it always has an impact on what I am seeing (by sharing something beautiful) or helping my mind expand. Thank you for this."
"Keep up the good work. Now more than ever."
"You are a treasure!"
"Good luck & thanks for the last 25yrs of great NYC info!"
"As admitted before, I'm unemployed with two littles. But MUG is a huge part of my daily sanity."
"I wouldn't enjoy NYC nearly as much without MUG! Thank you!"
"There are many guides to New York, but none as creative, insightful, or practical as MUG. If it doesn't survive, the city will have lost yet another of its best treasures."
