Airline Passengers' Bill of Rights

Yes, there are more pressing problems in the world than an Airline Passengers' Bill of Rights.

And yet, it's clearly not right that airlines should be allowed to hold passengers indefinitely on the runway, as happened again this week. At some point, whether or not the law acknowledges it yet, what the airlines are doing goes from being a consensual act of transit to unlawful imprisonment.

In the scheme of things, it could be easily remedied. All that's needed is a little hue and cry.

So we encourage you to hue and cry here.
