This 23-year-old native New Yorker and NYU grad has recorded three CDs of his own material, increasingly mature speculations on love and loss, in enormously appealing pop-rock melodies with occasional jazz inflections. Another emerging talent is playwright David Lindsay-Abaire. See his newest play, Kimberly Akimbo, at Manhattan Theater Club, 581.1212.
