The second annual BAMcinemaFEST presents 16 New York premieres of films from Toronto, Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, and other major festivals plus filmmaker Q&As, special screenings of rarely shown classics, outdoor and midnight screenings, and free parties.

Opening night, join stars Marisa Tomei and John C. Reilly and directors Jay and Mark Duplass for the New York premiere of their new film Cyrus, followed by a free party for ticket holders featuring complimentary beer from Brooklyn Brewery, premium scotch from The Macallan, and many other tasty treats.

Other highlights include SXSW Jury Award-winning comedy Tiny Furniture (Jun 11 & 13); the bloody Viking epic Valhalla Rising (Jun 12); Rejoice and Shout, a vivid account of the history of gospel music featuring a wealth of archival performances; the eye-popping 3D documentary Cane Toads: The Conquest (Jun 16); The Canal Street Madam, the behind-the-scenes story of the infamous New Orleans brothel run by Jeanette Maier, who will be at the screening for a Q&A; two evenings of films presented by director Olivier Assayas (Jun 14 & 15); and a closing night screening of G.W. Pabst's silent classic Diary of a Lost Girl (Jun 20) with live accompaniment by rock collective 3epkano.

Tell us which BAMcinemaFEST film you're most interested to see and be entered for a chance to win a pair of tickets to that film (does not include OPENING NIGHT or CLOSING NIGHT). Three winners will be selected at random. Email to enter. Please put MUG in the subject line.
