fri-sun 3-9pm: the park avenue armory transforms into a huge indoor carnival, complete with a 50-foot ferris wheel(!), games, performers, workshops in circus acts (balloon sculpture, juggling…), more. $5 admission (rides extra).
fri-sat 1-8pm (+10/9 11am-6pm): 90+ vintage clothing + textile dealers gather at this year's manhattan vintage clothing show. metropolitan pavilion, $15 admission with email signup (reg $20).
sat 6pm: celebrate john lennon's 70th birthday with a free screening of lennonnyc @ central park's summerstage, free
