Holiday Fair at GCT

Whether you're a deejay, urban planner, party host, retail buyer, or magazine editor, it all comes down to the mix.

That's why we think the Holiday Fair at Grand Central is such an ideal place to get a lot of your holiday gift shopping done. Seventy-two vendors from all over the world set up shop at the terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. But not just any vendors — they're carefully selected so that you're not confronted with a lot of shoddy goods, bad ideas from well-meaning craftspeople, and stuff you find everywhere else. As the Leasing Consultant for the market, Bill Foley, says, "Anyone walking through the hall can enjoy what's here — CEOs, tourist, kids. It's not Bergdorf redux, though many of the goods could be sold at Bergdorfs. But you'll find them here for less."

Some of the highlights…

· Gorgeous Japanese prints from The Tolman Collection

· Ten jewelers, including colored amber from Valerio 888, , Boucher Jewelry, and wonderful Wells-Ware custom charm bracelets

· Cutecutecute hand-painted kid's furniture by The Dahl House

· Lively-patterned silk ties from Josh Bach

· Handbags by Elaine Arsenault

· Marionettes from the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre

· Ornaments, stocking stuffers from, and Wrap Artists' on-site gift wrapping service.
