Manacles is the hottest jewelry line you've never heard of.

Saks, 212.753.4000, sold out every piece in three days and the reorder is expected in the store this weekend (on the 6th and 7th floors).

Two NY artists, a German and a Vietnamese living in New York, have merged Asian sensibility with European craftsmanship to launch the first round in their line of contemporary men's jewelry.

First up are their stylish hand-made necklaces. Antique batik-patterned horn (nothing's endangered - the bone is from cows) as well as centuries-old African glass beads are paired with streamlined sterling silver closures. They run $125-$195.

Plans are to extend the men's line and develop jewelry for women. As for the name: the artists simply liked the playful, tongue-in-cheek ring to it.
