MUG at 25

This year, Manhattan User's Guide turned 25.

MUG was the first city newsletter—created in black and white on paper in 1992—and has remained true to its original mission: scope out the best, most interesting stuff in the widest range of subjects possible…call out the worst… and generally celebrate all things New York City.

In that time, we've watched a lot of worthy competitors come and go—dozens of New York-centric publications like Citysearch, Digital City, Daily Candy, Gawker, DNAinfo and Gothamist, all now shuttered.

And MUG, the little email that could, chugs along through our 25th year… with your support.

By the end of the year, we still need to raise $18,000 to meet our 2017 budget and get us to our 26th year.

Will you help get MUG to 26? Click. Yes. Click.

Thank you for your support!
