This retrospective of celebrated lighting designer Ingo Maurer offers an overview of his nearly four decades of work.

Featuring objects selected by Maurer himself, this exhibition includes rare prototypes, one-off pieces, photographs and films documenting his illumination projects around the world.

The exhibition is highlighted by site-specific lighting installations designed specifically for Cooper-Hewitt's galleries.
