Publicolor
Rudy Revisited
Every Person in New York

Publicolor is "longterm youth development program that engages high-risk students in their education through a continuum of design-based programs, and mentors them to be successful in college, career, and life."

It was started by Ruth Lande Shuman, an industrial designer who perfectly understood the power of a can of paint to combat the cheerless environments in which NYC students spent most of their days. That led to Paint Club, an after-school program in which students transform those environments. Publicolor also has apprenticeship programs, a product design workshop, and college prep classes.

There are a number of volunteer opportunities, including painting with them, tutoring, and mentoring. You can donate here.

This MUG poll was taken November 6, 2017. Even though Rudy didn't turn up in the Mueller investigation, MUG readers believed that he would be mixed up in the farrago of corruption finally unraveling in Washington.

Jason Polan started Every Person in New York in March of 2008. He plans on working on the project until it is finished. Look for more at Jason's site and his book Every Person in New York.
