Legend of the Sacred Stone – November 12
Set in China 400 years ago, this nonstop puppet action film features martial arts heroes as they battle demon warriors for a sacred stone that brings untold power.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch – November 14
This cult classic features legions of everyone's favorite mischievous creatures as the Gremlins wreak havoc within a New York City skyscraper.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – November 18
This live-action film adaptation of the cult comic book and TV show about four sewer-turtles-turned-ninjas features early innovations from Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Puppet – November 12
This documentary interweaves a broad look at the history of American puppetry—from its marginalization as children's theater to its sudden explosion as high art—with an intimate look at downtown artist Dan Hurlin.

Muppet films
This festival also features special film appearances by Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, and the entire Muppet gang in The Muppet Movie and Muppet Treasure Island.

Family films
Puppets on Film includes many films that are perfect for the entire family, including Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey, the dream world Czech fantasy Kooky, and a special program of kids shorts.
