Around town this weekend, courtesy of the skint: a daily listing of free and cheap things to buy, see, do and eat in New York.

fri 7pm: comedians put the films annie and sophie's choice to the
bechdel test at videology. free.

sat-sun 10am-6pm: the massive pier antiques show features 400+ exhibitors selling furniture, jewelry, art, fashion, and more. plus, free appraisals sunday 10am-3pm (one item limit, rsvp requested). pier 94, $20 ticket price includes admission for both days.

sat 3/28 2pm: orange is the new black creator piper kerman talks with joe loya, with her formerly incarcerated pen pal who encouraged her to write about her prison experiences, and author of the man who outgrew his prison cell. brooklyn museum, free with museum admission ($16 general, $10 students/seniors).

sun (various times): could it be? coney island's luna park, wonder wheel park and circus sideshow open for the season with the annual blessing of the rides (10:30am) and cyclone egg cream christening (12pm). bonuses: the first 100 people at the cyclone and the first 95 at the wonder wheel get a free ride.

sun 8:30am-4:30pm: cheer on top mental athletes as they attempt feats like memorizing the order of a shuffled deck of cards, while you try to remember where the heck you put your metrocard (you lost it. again.) at the 18th annual usa memory championship thinking games competition. st. vartan's conference center (630 second ave., bet. 34th + 35th sts), free.

sun 1:45pm: the annual greek independence day parade makes its way up fifth avenue from 64th st. to 79th st.

sun 3, 5pm: jcc manhattan screens streit's: matzo and the american dream, a documentary about streit's matzos company, which has been operating out of a lower east side tenement building since 1925. $12 admission includes a free box of matzo.
