And the first hint of such a thing here (think acorns, not oaks), is the opening this Sunday, 11-4, of the Wintermarket at the New Market Building, South Street [Peck Slip/Beekman]. Three dozen sustainable food purveyors will be on hand—bakers, farmers, butchers, cheesemongers, fishmongers, foragers, and beekeepers. $5 suggested donation.
