Good For The Jews' second annual "Putting the Ha! in Hannukah" tour promises no songs about dreidels, 12/23 at the Highline Ballroom…Croissants, macaroons, canelés de Bordeaux and lots of other French goodness shipped to you by My Boulangerie.

food… You'd expect Cafe Cluny, 284 W. 12th [W. 4th] 212.255.6900, which has genetic ties to The Odeon and Cafe Luxembourg, to deliver a hassle-free, civilized but relaxed atmosphere. And indeed it does. But Cluny is also serving up perfect winter food: things like slow-roasted pork and lamb Bolognese. And they're keeping their West Village corner spot fired up for Christmas Eve and Christmas night.

indie rock… Saturday: The resurgent Longwave rock their best album yet at Bowery Ballroom. Sunday-Sunday: Yo La Tengo begins their 8-nights of Hannukah shows at Maxwell's! Just Announced… 2/4: Beirut. 2/27 & 2/28: Blitzen Trapper. 4/3: Cold War Kids.

movie… Kelly Reichardt has won raves for her exquisite movie Wendy and Lucy (Manohla Dargis called it a "pitch-perfect triumph"). The director will be on hand at Film Forum tonight for the 8pm show.

dance… The world would be a much less joyful place without Les Ballets Trockadero. Fortunately, the subversive dance troupe is back in town through January 4th at the Joyce. Swan Lake and Giselle are among the works parodied in two programs by the Trocks.

artPriska C. Juschka Fine Art, 547 W. 27th [10th/11th] 212.244.4320, currently has the show Scotoma, works by Taras Polataiko. The Ukraine-born artist, using paintings of his own eyes, is playing with the idea of viewing art—who is viewing and what is viewed.

video games… Fourteen classic video games—including Donkey Kong, Frogger (Frogger!), Missile Command, and Space Invaders, are part of the Interacting with the Screen exhibit at the Museum of the Moving Image, 35 Avenue at 37 Street, Astoria, 718.784.0077. Four games for a buck. Sorry, no Q*bert.

out of town… Travelzoo has found a tough-to-beat fare from NYC to Hong Kong on Northwest: $845 including taxes. Travel dates are midweek through March. Add $50 for weekends.

shopping… Tattoo Man and Tattoo Lady (also known as Mr. Percy and Lil' Edith, though she certainly looks like she could hold her own) are adult dolls designed by L.A. ink artist Jason Schroder. They're $29.95 each and available from Sprout (online only, not from the Brooklyn shop).
