movie The Fairy opens at the Quad tomorrow, a gentle Jacques Tati-esque comedy about a hotel clerk in the French port city of Le Havre and the fairy-tale fairy who grants him three wishes.

music This one has a bunch of moving parts. Frank Tovey, the late founder of the 1970s/1980s British electronic group Fad Gadget gets a tribute on March 1st at three different locations and with works created by over two dozen artists. After that, there are exhibits, musical performances and the screening of a documentary about Tovey. More info here.
