Starting next week, The Northside Festival showcases music, art, and film from Williamsburg and Greenpoint.

On Saturday, the third annual Crest Fest in Williamsburg: this one's got dozens of local artists selling their wares, good food, and live music.

The documentary Stonewall Uprising, about the birth of the gay rights movement, is at Film Forum. Tonight at the 6:30 and 8:20pm shows, the filmmakers will be there with film subjects.

art… From Kreuzberg to Brooklyn: Allan Nederpelt Fine Arts, 60 Freeman [Franklin/West] Greenpoint, won't officially open until the fall. But a chance meeting between the gallerist and Berlin curator Marlene Stark led to a show called A Suitcase Full of Art from Berlin, opening tonight, 6-9pm, where you'll get a sense of what artists are up to in that vibrant city.

… Tilda Swinton stars in I Am Love, the story of a wealthy Milanese family, directed by Luca Guadagnino. Opens tomorrow.

out of town… In New Hampshire's White Mountains, stay at the Mount Washington Resort, a national landmark, for $129 a night, Sunday-Thursdays through September 9th.

movies/food… This year's NYC FoodFilmFestival includes the world premiere of Florent: Queen of the Meat Market. The festival runs 6/23-6/27. The Florent screening takes place on 6/24 at the Altman Building. $75, includes food and drink.
