Dump Trump

Tonight, Dine Out Williamsburg for Sandy Relief. These fine restaurants, bars, and businesses will donate 10-20% of sales to the Red Cross for relief efforts.

Now through November 30th, Brevity Jewelry will donate 50% of New York and Brooklyn necklaces sales, and 20% of all other City Necklaces sales, to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

Excelsior by Sean Auyeung [pictured at top], was drawn "as a reminder of how much New Yorkers care for one another." Excelsior is Latin for 'ever upward' and is the motto of the State of New York. It's sold through The Working Proof, which will donate 50% from each print purchased to the Bowery Mission.

DUMBO's powerHouse Arena holds a Hurricane Relief Fundraiser on Saturday, November 17, noon-8 PM. Support their recovery with a suggested donation of $10. Lots of writers, lots of readings, refreshments.

The Archetype Showroom, 676 Bway [Bond/Great Jones] has a sample sale 11/16, 10-7, and 11/17, 11-7, of designer menswear, womenswear, and accessories. 20% of all sales benefit Sandy victims. Cash, cc, no checks.

Anything But Politics, A Pop Culture Trivia Benefit for hurricane Sandy relief, hosted by Pat Kiernan, Tuesday, November 13, 7:30pm, at The Bell House.

Christian Siriano and Erin Fetherston host a joint sample sale at the Christian Siriano Boutique, 252 Elizabeth [Houston/Prince], November 10 and 11, 11am-7pm. 10% of sales will be donated to the T2T Stephen Siller Sandy Relief Fund.

The Help DUMBO Rebuild Fundraiser takes place Wednesday, November 14 at Galapagos Art Space, starting at 6pm. Tickets from $25. More info here.
