foodWine.Dine.Donate, that great idea from Epicurious, will hold their last event for the year this Tuesday, October 16 at Del Posto, with hosts Tanya Steel, editrix of Epicurious (and WDD founder), Lidia Bastianich, Mario Batali, and Joe Bastianich. out of town… [A tip from a reader] Try Ctrip for discount tickets within and originating from China. "A friend who lived in Beijing for a year showed me this - it's only been in English for a few months - and it's amazing. Good deals and much more transparency into the domestic air travel scene in China than I've been able to find elsewhere. Downside is you have to have paper tickets issued in China - what I've done is have Ctrip deliver to my hotel."
