theater For the third year in a row. a production of Joyce's The Dead, 1904 returns, courtesy of the Irish Rep, performed at the American Irish Historical Society, 991 5th [80th/81st], at which 57 guests (aka audience members), join in a holiday party taking place on January 6, 1904. You can literally join in the feast, while you observe the party. Show-only seating is $150; with dinner, $300.




event Kirsten Gillibrand and Maira Kalman have collaborated on the new book Bold & Brave: Ten Heroes Who Won Women the Right to Vote. Join Senator Gillibrand on Saturday, December 15, 1pm at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, 157 Montague [Henry/Clinton]. $23 gets entrance for two people and a copy of the book.
