thru sun: the woodlawn conservancy revives its celia cruz exhibit, a collection of costumes, wigs, personal photographs, and a documentary video of 'the queen of salsa.' outdoor concert sunday at 3pm. woodlawn cemetery (bronx), free admission.

thru sun + 9/19-22: 90+ repurposed shipping containers turn into art galleries for photoville, a pop-up photography 'village' at brooklyn bridge plaza. the annual event includes artists from across the globe, plus talks, workshops, family-friendly activities, and a beer garden. free admission.

thru 9/16: film at lincoln center presents two free women: lily tomlin + jane wagner, an 11-film retrospective including the search for signs of intelligent life in the universe, nashville, 9 to 5 and others, as well as a selection of works for television (free), and an in-person discussion with the duo. film at lincoln center (uws), $15 general, $12 students/seniors.

fri 5-10pm: slices and scoops are just $2 each at the dumbo pizza party, bringing local ice cream and pizza vendors, dumbo-themed sixpoint beer, dj sets, and kid’s activities to the archway under the manhattan bridge. free admission (pay-as-you-go).

sun 1-5pm: 26 participating restaurants will sell dumplings for $1 each at the annual momo crawl. purchase of a $10 'passport' is required to participate, with proceeds benefiting students for a free tibet. diversity plaza (jackson heights).
